can the apple bluetooth headsets be use by other phone ?

Hi, i wanna buy the apple bluetooth headset but i want to know wheter it can be use with my other bluetooth enabled phone or not ?
did anyone ever tried it ?

short answer: yes.

long answer: you will need to follow standard pairing, the device passkey is the typical '0000'

...it's also worth noting that the Apple Bluetooth Headset works with any BT-capable Mac.

I use it with my iMac + Gizmo and it rocks!
