Hi,

I just thought it might be cool and helpful to have an open discussion about what people think is the best bluetooth for iPhone. Please share your reasons too. I'm personally being attracted to Plantronics Voyager 815/855 for it's design, added detachable earpiece, and sliding mic (Plantronics says 815 works with iPhone for music streaming but 855 doesn't). What is your choice?

Hi all. First post in the forums.

SurfaceSound Compact from Contour Design and BlueTrek (contourcase.com | Bluetooth SurfaceSound Compact) gets my vote. Clips on to the visor with a movable microphone. No one can tell I'm on a "headset" - even with the windows open and stereo on, sound is great.

Only use bluetooth in my truck, which isn't bluetooth enabled. Kept losing bluetooth headsets that I had to carry around with me - including the 1st generation Jawbone, and Plantronics 510. SurfaceSound was the logical choice for my needs. Priced less than the Jawbone at $100.

Additional note on Jawbone - being a female, fit was an issue which impacted sound quality. Was hard to get that "sweet spot" (aka voice activity sensor) just right. So, chucked it in favor of the Plantronics.

How did you ever get it to stay in your ear? I tried it a few times and gave up.... it kept falling out.

i have the new Jawbone. Best headset i've ever used. Best Noise cancelling, and the ear loops are actually comfortable [i normally hate ear loops].
