I had both on - anti-glare & crystal film and the answer is: if you want to enjoy the brilliance+detail of your display, use crystal film. Anti-glare takes away most of it and makes the display look dull, the surface appears to be rougher when sliding over it with the finger. I started of with anti-glare and took it off again, almost didn't recognize my phone with the crystal film on it. But it's all down to personal preference as the poll shows...

I couldn't agree more. I had both and went with the Crystal film. I don't seem to get the fingerprints like everyone is complaining about. Some but not nearly as many as the glass by itself.

I swear by the Anti-glare

I am proud to say this is my first post, and with that being said....the anti-glare shield is the best I have ever used on any device.......and I have had a TON of devices!!!

On the other had get invisibleSHIELD; its so much more durable and I doubt you would want a scratched up screen protector on you iphone.

Just my 2 cents...

Sorry if i went off topic
i used a seidio case with anti-glare on the first iphone and had no problems fitting it on. i'm now using the crystal clear one for the 3g iphone and prefer this one. although it does attract fingerprints and smudges, it just seems...nicer and i feel the anti glare got dirty after awhile...

Does anyone know if the Invisibleshield does anti-finger print? I hate those finger prints.

If not I might just have to go with anti-glare front and IS back. Do they fit together?

ok so, I keep my phone in my pocket most of the time and i noticed a few small light scratches (so small that you can only see them when the screen is off and the lighting is right). I want to get a screen protector and I'm leaning toward the anti-glare. I'm wondering though, I know that if there's any dust, it will always bubble. What about those small scratches? will it bubble in those spots? I think that would drive me nuts.

How do you cut the holes in them for the phone so it looks nice?

I had anti-glare in my 2G and now a crystal clear in my 3G. Crystal clear, of course, is like the naked screen so it is a finger print magnet. However, I prefer the clarity of the screen so I don't mind wiping my crystal clear screen protector from time to time with a lint-free cloth. I felt that with the crystal clear, I don't need to turn up my screen brightness too much (so, in a way, it saves battery power...every little bit counts).

I went out and got the antiglare after all. I went on way easy and fits perfectly. Highly recommended.
