For customer service people
Can the systems you call into for customer service lose your call? I called AT&T about by bill today and got through in about 5 minutes but didn't have the last four of the social on the account so had to call back when I had that info. When I call back I'm on hold for 62 minutes before my phone cuts out because it is old and retarded and loses connection to its base. Anyway, so I immediately call back and get through in 5 minutes. That makes no sense. On the 62 minute call could my call just have been, for a lack of better word, lost? I don't know how those systems work but it seems odd to be on hold for 62 minutes then immediately call back and get through in 5 minutes.
