However, I cannot duplicate the existing sim card and use the iphone without taking out the sim card and switching phones, etc.

My question is if I purchase an AT&T prepaid plan/new sim card, will Apple recognize me as legit? Didn't have any problem untill I upgraded. I had no problem jailbreaking and activating.

I know I can't unlock.

I can use other att sim without activating that sim thru itunes...
Is that OK? Is there some sort of way that I will have any charges thru att related to the iphone??

So basically i have a jailbroken, and activated phone using att but without the 2 yr additional contract????

If I was to activate using that sim would I have to sign a 2 yr contract or does it just work like now?

Is edge free ? because I just got a call saying i got a bill for $2500 for internet usage. I was pretty confused about what the person was telling me at the time. But I got the part where she said everything is fixed and that I don't have to pay for that bill. She asked me if the phone was unlocked and so on and I said yes. And she told me a whole bunch of junk I didn't understand. Then she said she blocked my internet and that I would have to open a AT&T iphone plan in order to use the internet. :confused: But as of now my internet is still working even though she said it was blocked... Can someone please elaborate all this to me. It would be greatly appreciated.
