iPhone iPod bug - stereo headphones mic not working when pressed after locking phone

Has anyone noticed this bug on the ipod part of the iphone... go to the ipod , then play a music... hold the iphone vertically then horizontally so album coverflow appears... hold the iphone vertically again and then turn it sideways but before coverflow appears, press the sleep/wake button. when you press the mic of the headset to pause the music, it will not pause... when you double press it to skip the music, it wont work too!!! i had this with the 1st generation iphone and now also with the iphone 3G!!! this always happen to me when im on the go. has anyone had this problem of the headphones not working???

um than dont do that if it dosent work for you..lol also if it does do that un plug and plug head phones in a few times and see if that helps
