Hi, i dont know if anyone else has run in to this problem, but i have lost the ipod function on my iphone 3g. My iphone is jailbroken and i havent been able to isolate why this happens. I dont know if it happened because of winscp or something having to do with itunes. Basically when i go to my ipod, it says that there is no content when i know for a fact that there is at least 2 gigs of music on my iphone. It also doesnt let me press any of the other buttons like artist or album. The wierd thing is that when i hood it up to itunes, itunes clearly shows that there is music on the phone. Has anybody else experienced this. If any body knows how to fix this please help.

Try removing all the media content on your iPhone, and then put it back on. Also, when you say that you can't push any buttons in the iPod application, does that means it stays open until you close it, or does that mean it's frozen and it eventually closes itself?

downgrade iTunes to 7.7 I had the same problem as well as my free apps not launching but my "other" apps worked.
