I'm looking for how to access the 8GB of memory on my touch. I want to take out that memory and replace it with a bigger version such as 16. Can anyone please tell me:
1) where the memory/hard drive is located
2) what kind of memory i.e. CF/HDD/etc.

it is solid state flash and no idea where it is.. too scared to tamper with it, i have a bad track record of "fixing" things

the touch was made to not be used as a flash drive.

You need to SSH into your iPod to access the files in it.
