hey i was looking round the net and i read that this one guy downloaded a
free 2.0 firmware from the INTERWEB something didnt quite work so he restored and got apples firmware just wondering is this possible?

and i am thinking about upgrading from 1.1.4 jailbroken to 2.0.2
any certain version of itunes required and which pwn thing would i use thanks a lot

I wouldn't be surprised if that would work (there are other methods, but I mustn't speak of such). Get WinPwn or QuickPwn (latest versions) and you should be golden.
