1.1.4 problems with winscp, term-vt100, gsphone ect

okay here is what i am running

IPhone 1.1.4
Jailbroken using Ziphone

current installed apps/tweaks

gpsphone
vwallpaper
mobilefinder
bsd subsystem ver 2.1
open ssh version 4.6p1-2
term vt100
bsd subsystem 2.0 terminal fix
ziphone ibricker fix
SUID Lib Fix

Here are my current problems

I want to use gpshone to play and save gba games unfortunatly i cannot save.

my permissions are correct but i'm pretty sure the problem is my owner is set as root instead of mobile

the fix for this is supposed to be

in term-vt100 enter the following command
chown -h -R mobile /var/mobile

so i start up term, see a $ symbol pop up and type the above command, i then get this error over and over again

chown: changing owndership of `/var/mobile/blahblahblah : Operation not permitted.

I think this is because i'm supposed to login to term but when i type in login:root
password: alpine
I get Login incorrect

I can't log in to my iphone using winscp either. when i type in the ip, user root and password alpine, port 22 protocal scp i get "network timed out" everytime so i can't try using that.

If anybody has any thoughts or suggestions i would appreicate it.

I've tried everything i can find on these forums, ask yusry, zodttd.com, and every place google thought to show me.

My suggestion is to install Cydia. Remove vt100, remove openssh and then install mobile terminal and openssh from cydia. Works for me!
Cydia will have several updates after the initial install.
