3G iPod issues
Hey guyws, new to the iPhone world and i'm having some difficulties. I have a jailbroken phone running 2.0. The issue is that i cannot get my music to show up in the iPod app. iTunes has synced to it's hearts content, but it still doesnt show. One time when i plugged into my pc it said that it needed to create a new account on iTunes. not necessarily a new account but i guess more like a partnership. After it did that, i had it resync the mp3's. It was originally 6gb of mp3s, which halfway filled the device. now, with the new partnership and new syncing, it is virtually full. it shows half is music files while the other is data. I also have SwapTunes installed, so i think it could be related. I'm using iphonebrowser and i figure i can delete all of the mp3 files in var\mobile\media\itunes_control\music. As a matter of fact i have two of he itunes_control folders, one is labeled as 2. i figure that is because of SwapTunes. So right now i am in the process of manually deleting all of the mp3s and removing the itune_control_2 folder. I have a feeling that SwapTunes is the culprit, but i wanted to get some insight from those that are more familiar with a)the device and b)SwapTunes. any help is greatly appreciated.
thanks!

well i figured it out. i downloaded xilisoft's ipod rip software that another guy mentioned a few posts ago and used the windows browser with that util to manually delete all the mp3s. once that was done, the music magically appeared in my ipod menus. I just started a resync to see if it breaks again, hope not. I'll repost later to let you guys know. figure the more info out here the better in case someone else has this happen to them
