the fact that you have tried to restore to an earlier firmware than 2.0 on your 3g iphone maybe proves that you deserve to have a bricked iphone, or no iphone at all, which ever is better.

in all honesty, to me, i dont trust anything that your saying. i believe that you are doing something really simple and stupid wrong. the whole scenario just doesnt add up, to anyone that has contributed to these wasted 9 pages of posts.

Please go to the apple store and ask them what they can do for you.......

so your implying you are computer literate?

just like to clarify, you have bricked your iphone right? then tried to fix a 3g by restoring it to a 1.1.x firmware.....

I tried restoring it to a prior firmware after everything else didn't work. And not being able to fix my ******* iPhone hardly makes me not capable of knowing my way around computers.


it's pretty clear by now it's not even a firmware issue and the IPhone would have ****** itself with or without the pwnage firmware, and lucky me just got stuck with their custom logos.

so you, big man, read this whole thread. page after page, top to bottom, and get your facts right before you start getting all macho e-thug on me, dickhead.

this is just a lesson for people to learn from. dont **** with pwnage if you dont know what your doing. and dont try and downgrade a 3G iphone to an earlier version.

Come on guys..... she started this thread to get help... that is what this forum is all about, to get help, tips and answers from knowledgeable people ..... I am sure she feels bad enough about everything as it is "NO ONE IS PERFECT..... I am sure this thread will get closed if this keeps up.

I don't know what you mean about messing with pwnage if I don't know what I'm doing.

The phone was fully jailbroke and in perfect working condition for a good, oh... 14 hours before it crapped out on me.




Regardless, I'm getting it resolved tonight. My friend made me an appointment at the genius bar he works at, and he's fixing everything for me... whatever that means.
