Edit: This pic has turned out to be a prank check out this post for where the image came from.

An anonymous tipster has sent us an image of the 3g iPhone. When I say anonymous I mean it; the email is completely untraceable sent through the dizum service.

According to our source this is a shot of the rear of the new iPhone taken at a major Apple store (I'm leaving the store location out to respect the source's anonymity, if you're smart you can probably make a very good guess to the location ) on Saturday. At possible risk of employment he/she has provided us with this photo because he/she feels that the iPhone community should have a little hint of what's coming. Note: This is not an iPhone case, this is the iPhone.

of course we have no way to tell if this is a real shot or an elaborate prank, but just in case it is the real thing, I am posting this thread

It looks as if someone just spray painted the iPhone black mabye that will be one of the new colors available I really dont think there going to change the body of the iPhone yet

I cannot be 100% sure obviously, but I have been told that the phone accessory companies have been told to expect a new shape for the new iPhone. I know this sounds really smartass, but I do have reliable information (network), that one particular accessory which was made for the iPhone, doesnt fit the new one. One more thing, there was also something mentioned about a FireWire connector. If this is old news, I'm sorry. I haven't been keeping up lately

They dont look alike, first of all the apple logo isnt shiny in the one posted first, and the headphone jack is different. And there is no text because its only the top half of the phone...

That casing isn't limited edition, it's made by a 3rd party company. So they couldn't put the Apple info on it, and it'd be dumb since there were two types of iPhones out at the time. That's why.

looks exactly the same lol, someone mentioned a non-recessed ear phone jack, looks pretty recessed to me.

I don't get why you guys state all your news as facts. ALL of it.

You don't know if it's real yet you state it as real. Everything you guys post is like this. Also that picture looks photoshopped, obviously.
