I need some assistance on a background

This is my first time to have an iphone and I am learning all the tricks. I can ssh into my phone and change files, where do I go to add a pic for my homescreen behind the icons?

I am trying to make a University of Tennessee theme, so any help would be much appreciated.

The Springboard background can't be changed. If you have 1.14 or under, you can use Summerboard to set a background, but that's about the only way.

Is no one working on this? I haven't heard anything from Nullriver that they will be updating Summerboard. Is that who even makes Summerboard? Freaking wallpaper on my homescreen is all I want.

I read somewhere that an update SB possibly would be available in another week or so
