FireflyMediaServer

A port of mt-daap (Firefly), this allows your iPhone to stream music to iTunes. Make sure your iTunes is set to share music, and enable "Look for shared library" in your iTunes Sharing preferences. Then look for your iPhone's name in the list of shared libraries in iTunes, and select it and log in. The media password is usually dottie, but may be alpine. Available via Installer

Erica Sadun has come up with another little ingenious app called Listen. Believe it or not, just hold your iphone up to some music, and your iphone will happily list the song, artist and album! This one actually gets addicting, and reminds me of my music I haven't listened to in a bit. Good fun.
