IfastSwitch by Screw is a NICE app that brings easy, fast (not always, for the current version at least) and cool looking acces to wifi/bluetooth/ssh/airplane controls, and respring/reboot/switch off too. Before installing it, always remember to install the latest screwcommon (it wont work otherwise, and different screwcommon versions may [and most definitely WILL] give different options and results). Originally the app had only wifi/bt/airplane controls (that worked by tapping on them ONCE) and switch off/reboot/respring buttons that worked with a double tap. Also, in every version, there's an "info" box that takes a little while to load. Initially also,  the app was "started" by swiping your finger "diagonally" (it actually worked from up to down or right to left too) from the top  right corner of the screen, bellow the status bar. The app "slided" from right to left, but latter that changed to a diagonal slide,  to match the idea ...

Installer.app is the primary key to distribution of Mobile OS X apps to the iPhone/iPod touch hacking/modding community. It uses community maintained repositories to host all the apps and utilities that you see in the installation catagories screen. Installer.app downloads all of its apps via Wifi and EDGE (preferably Wifi for the larger apps). It will also automatically refresh its repository sources every 12 hours to ensure your apps are up to date. Installer has a beautiful and easy to navigate interface and has great easy to use functions for the not so technical users. Finding and installing apps and utilities is a breeze. Simply open the Installer.app and tap the Install icon on the bottom. This will bring you to a screen where you can scroll through catagories and even search all of the packages with a spotlight like feel. Uninstalling Apps that you don't want anymore is just as ...

Intelliscreen is probably going to be the most useful program you’re ever going to have. What it does is show you your RSS feed, weather, email and even SMS all conveniently on your “Slide to Unlock” screen. Intelliscreen is an essential app I use every day. When I wake up in the morning, the first thing I do is check the weather, and what’s easier than just checking my “Slide to Unlock” screen? When I’m bored at school, I can easily check the news on Digg.com. Intelliscreeen also has an option where you can switch to another screen. My first screen shows my RSS Feeds and the weather. When I double-click on the clock, the screen does a flip animation and shows my SMS’s and emails. All of these are all customizable by the way. The only problem I find in Intelliscreen is that the way you customize your layout is pretty buggy. ...

SysInfo by Robota Softwarehouse (web site: http://www.robota.nl/) is one Native iPhone process viewer. There are many process viewers for the iPhone, but this one surely deserves to take a place among the best 5. You can use this program to manage your running processes, and manage them in detail. It represents a detailed task-manager, and it can help you manipulate your overload of processes and the ones that drain your battery. The user interface of the application is pretty straight forward. When you turn it on, it goes to the main screen where you can notice several informations about various properties of your iPhone, namely: - the memory load (it shows how much memory the iPhone's OS and applications use), - the system load, - the accelerometer values (if you move your phone you will see the change in the accelerometer values. The acceleromete is the thing that notices when you turn your iPhone, and ...

XLaunch is the End-All-Be-All of Launchers. That is truly how complete this launcher is. I sometimes wonder if Apple was the Dev behind this software, just because how professional it is. Really it is two apps combined into one: AppFlow and XLauncher (both by Erica Sadun). Why is it so great? Well to start it has accelerometer support, changing from a list view to AppFlow view by orientation change. Also, when in list view, the apps are sorted alphabetically, with reference letters on the side (reminiscent of the iPod and Contacts app). When one taps an app, a menu pops up with four options: Launch App, Assign to Home Key, Badge it and Cancel. Assign to Home Key sets the selected app to the 'Double Tap' setting (f/w 1.1.1 and above). Badge it offers the ability to add a number or short word (3-4 letter) to a 'Badge' (like that ...

Caterpillar, a for-pay app which includes 6 mini apps (which look surprisingly like apps which have already been released), allows you to tweak tons of settings and such on your iPhone, from events on your lock screen to new system fonts to a smart dialer. Brought to you by Unsanity, the same guys who make ShapeShifter for OS X. Available via Installer on their source | Discuss | Developer's Site

Categories allows you to create categories on your desktop. These are icons that are like folders that can contain other icons to launch. This allows you to organize your desktop rather than having it be a huge mess. The app comes with a GUI configurator so that you do not have to edit text files. When you add an app to a category, it is removed from the springboard list so that it no longer shows up on the main desktop. When you remove the app from the category it is returned back to the springboard.  To install Categories add "sleepers.net/iphonerepo" to your installer sources and install Categories from the System category on installer.  More Info
