Oh boy,
I should have kept it on 1.1.1 I'm so screwed (see also my summerboard thread).

While re arranging my icons through customize, I accidently clicked it invisible. Wow, it's gone

I unstalled it, installed it. Still, no icon.

GREAT. Does anybody know how to start an app other than tipping on the icon ?

install xlaucher from erica under utilities and toggle the visibility back on, may have to toggle twice. I too have done this and this worked for me....stuff happens . lol...

Always have Dock installed just in case. But also, if you install MobileFinder, just go into your applications folder, and double tap the app and it opens...
