AppleTap is an application, which gives you all the information of all the apple products. The information includes when the product was released, when it was last updated and link to the product page. It also has a quite interesting Timeline feature which is actually a list of all the Apple products ever released arranged in a 10 year period block. The following features are planned for the future: •    Finshing Apple screen with all items having a picture. •    Adding a search feature. •    Changing timeline blocks from 10 years to years •    Adding Settings Currently this application needs Jiggy Runtime to run but is expected to be ported to objective C. CalcPaper

CalcPaper is a good replacement for the Calculator App in iPhone. It has many functions, including Percentage, Square Root, Square (x^2), Postive/Negative. It also simulates the receipt of paper calculator, that means you can scroll through all calculations with your finger. CalcPaper can only be viewed in Landscape, and you can choose different skins. It is sold at $2.95 for the complete version, where you can store your preference, lines and avoid waiting for 10 seconds before using. ContactFlow 0.95

ContactFlow is an awesome utility/toy. It extends the pretty interface of CoverFlow to that of the contacts app. Though this app has made it to version 0.95, it still has a ways to go. There are several bugs. Some graphics need some tidying up. In the end, however, it is usable- and very cool too. The major bugs are that certain graphics disappear after tapping them, and that there are random crashes (though the crashes happen very seldom). Aside from those issues, the app flows well, as it should since that is the premise. It also supports the accelerometer, changing orientation (only between landscape positions). There are a couple of settings too, such as Displaying all contacts (displays a picture of a silhouette if no picture on file), showing E-Mails, One-Click calling and Display Order. Dactyl

Dactyl, or what I like to call “Wack-a-Mole on steriods”, is great, simple, fun. It takes ones full concentration to play, and can truly consume one. The object is to 'diffuse' bombs by tapping them. They keep popping up at random, and will detonate if not tended to within about 2.5-3 seconds. Sounds easy right? At first, it is. But as time goes on, it gets harder and hard. I play with my two index fingers, my girlfriend, with her thumb. We have battles to see who can reach a score the other can not. I like the simplicity of the game, and that anyone can play it. I could teach my 6 yr old brother how to play this in less than a minute. If you are non-competitive, stay away! This game is for those who have to be the best! Graphics look good in this game. Drum

Though 3rd party iPhone/ iPod Touch apps that simulate instruments are plentiful, ones that incorporate the devices’ accelerometer are few. Drum, as the last application designed by Sean Heber for his iApp-a-Day project, needed to be innovative, but simple. Drum is both. It is not so much a normal: “Push-the-button, hear-the-noise” instrument simulator like a drumpad or drumset, but rather it is a…drumstick. The “Drum” is played by waving the device to and fro in the manner which one hits a drum with a drumsick. Each time the accelerometer senses this motion, a tone is produced.  This tone is not the crash of a cymbal, the ring of a tom, or the snap of a snare, but a simple “electronic” tone. FreeBoard

Touted as a Summerboard replacement, FreeBoard has the potential to be so, but is not quite there yet. FreeBoard is an app by TheSpicyChicken (creators of Customize), and is available on the MMi installer source. The main feature that this app offers is a 5 icon dock, for free, on f/w 1.1.3 and newer. Previous to this, Kate (Caterpillar) was the only app that was able to accomplish this, though it was TrialWare. Other features include: "Show Wallpaper", "Hide Icon labels" and a toggle for the app itself. A nice feature also is that FreeBoard simply adds itself to the front page of customize, leaving no extra icons on the springboard. My first impressions of this app were that it worked just fine. Fring

Fring is an application that allow you to chat! Mainly chat, but it also allows voice chat via VOIP. It allows chat with many clients, more than other chat applications. It allows chat with Skype, MSN, ICQ, SIP, Gtalk, Twitter (chat only), Yahoo chat only, and AIM (chat only). The chat on Fring is basic. No emoticons, no profiles (buddy info), no away messenges, yada yada yada.... BUT it is really good for keeping you connected! But the voice chat is something different. It is exceptionally awesome, to put it simple. There is no support for iPod Touch owners, at least for the voice chat. You can chat with your buddies from Skype, MSN, ICQ, SIP, and Gtalk. FWChanger

FWChanger (Firmware Changer) is an app that lets you change the firmware version of your iPhone. (Editing the plist quickly) For example, when you want to install MiM from Erica Sadun on your 1.1.4 iPhone, it refuses to install, as it only supports 1.1.3 or below. By selecting your firmware version in the Preset Firmware Version, these problems can be solved easily. Moreover, you can customize your Firmware and Build Verison. (The Tag) For example, if you enter “ModMy” into Firmware Version, and “iFone” into “Build Version”, the “Version” in your iPhone’s About Page will show ModMy (iFone). The ipod, without a doubt, was built as a way to listen to music, but many say its destiny is to make music.  Many 3rd party iphone/ ipod touch apps are appearing that allow the user to play their favorite instruments on the unique touch interface.  All easy ones have been thought of already; there are guitar apps, drum apps, piano apps, but what about a gangsa app? What is a gangsa? A gangsa is a Balinese Xylophone-like instrument composing of tuned metal bars connected to a wood case by string.
