So this may already be known, but I just realized that ringtones can be in the mp3 format as well as longer than 30 seconds.. just as a test I uploaded a full 4 minute song in the mp3 format as a ringtone and it worked, although it is still best to edit the good parts of a song to save space and so that you hear your favorite part when someone calls

Right of course. Its also illegal to upload .mp3's longer than 30 seconds. Piracy.

I replaced several UI sounds, but only half are working. The rest are silent. Any thoughts? All are in .caf format and are named correctly.

I didnt even think about that, i guess i need to do a few more edits.. lol although the phone only rings for like 20 seconds

Right, except its not how long they play that counts as piracy, its how long the FILE we're hosting is.
