Windows Install-ipb
Some help for newbie.

Using the install ipb guide i get as far as this.

C:>installipb.pl Global.ipb
Global.ipb does not seem to support iPhone OS Version '1.0.1'!

should i be using the older revision to the software? or am i doing something wrong?

Help would be great....also i have to say that i really love what you guys are doing. thanks for all the hard work.

Open your .ipb file. The folder inside should be named 1.0. Rename it to 1.0.1. Then try again.

phonedmg?!
Hi!

I am a bit new to this and tried everything so far. I can't seem to understand how and what I need to do the get to the phonedmg folder?! where is that in my pc ( windows) and if not how do I create it?

simple fix... just type in "installipb.pl global.ipb" you just need to add global.ipb behind it or whatever the filename is.

was global.ibp in the same folder as installipb.pl

Try again and this time make sure you capitilize the G "installipb.pl Global.ipb"
If it still doesnt work give me a screenshot of it.

yes, it is plugged in. I ran iphoneinterface right after installipb.pl to make sure that it was responding.

i changed the name of the 1.0.1 folder to 1.0 and it looked like it was working but when i restarted the phone, nothing changed.

can anyone help me plz? :/ Thanks =D
