[Great idea] Dial pad/address book on the slide screen

This is on the slide screen. As in, the screen that first pops up when you turn your phone on and theres the giant clock at the top and the "slide to unlock" at the bottom.

It would be something like this:

1. On the slide screen, there would be a little button at the center that says "Call".

2. When you press it, a mini dialer pops up (similar, if not exactly the same, as the emergency dial pad).

3. At the bottom (where the Slide button used to be) there would be two buttons; One would be to call and the other would be a button that would flip the dial-pad into a mini address book.

The problem with the iPhone is that you can't make calls quickly. With most (if not all) phones you can simply flip or slide it up and call a person within 1 second (assuming it's speed dial).

With the iPhone, you have to slide to unlock and go to phone. It's not time consuming, but it gets extremely tedious to do.
