I'm considering going to a MBP so I just want to throw this out and see what it is worth. I am not initially considering selling it, but it just might happen at a later date. This is not a for sale thread.

Thousands in extras which I unfortunately paid retail for so lot's of $$$ invested in this book.

Comes with Original Box, Paperwork, TWO MAGSAFE ADAPTERS! ($180 value), DVI to Video Adapter ($20 extra), Original Tiger Intel install disk, Apple Remote Control, Original Combo Drive included, Original 512 mb RAM included, two extra Magsafe cords/wall plugs.

You cannot go out and buy a brand new C2D Macbook and get even half the book this one is. It currently has the famous "MacBook crack" on the keyboard desktop, which is being replaced by Apple this week. I already have the box here from Apple I just need to drop it in the mail. There are two small white spots on the screen. There are no dead pixels, the spots appear to be a defect in the clear LCD cover itself. (weird) They are only noticed on primarily solid white background and disappear on darker background such as black. The book itself has normal wear and tear. As with any iBook or MacBook, the clear case hides the case scratches until you hold it up to the light and they appear.

I'd like opinions on what this book is worth with it's current configuration. It has no price, nor pics, since it is not currently FS.

If you need the software like I did, you'll quickly start adding the numbers up for Windows XP Pro, Leopard, Photoshop, and other programs. Exceeding the value of other non loaded MB's

you could probably get about 1200 for it because of your software (esp iwork, windows, and office) and the magsafe power adaptors/ video out cables as well as the dvd-rw drive, without all that I would place the value around 800 (i just bought my macbook in like new condition for 800 dollars, with a dual 2.0ghz processor, 80gb hd, leopard, and1gb of ram which was easily upgraded to 2 for about $40.

That's about what I was thinking. I was considering going to a MacBook Pro so it might go up FS in the future, but for now I am loving it. Took me a while to get it set up this way.

Anywho, other opinions welcome

The laptop would be worth around 1200 , used , leopard is an upgrade , but its a clean look and some of the features are worthy of the 1200 but not more.

I love my MBP, but I get all weak in the knees when I see a nice clean white MB...

I like the way the case hides scratches. Every since the iBook the clear case scratches only show held against light. it was a great idea from back in the day. problem with a clear acrylic case is that it DOES scratch like crazy so I guess it really is a design that fixes itself. Ask me if the case has scratches "yes, many" ask me if you can just walk up and see them "no".

Ok, now I need a new estimate. I've bought (yes bought) the following fully licensed copies of the following apps and they are installed. This has turned out to be a real monster.

I would want it , but it is very possible to get cracked of those programs or serials. Someone to pay 7061.00$ on that is way too much. It is worth that much , but if I were interested in buying , I would just want the macbook and airport. I currently almost also have those programs ( some don't interest me)but for free . So are you selling it or just want an estimate ? Because I thought this was a thread to buy and sell not ask how much .
