PS3 or xbox 360?

I'm going to get a console after buying the 2nd Gen iPhone but I'm really stuck between PS3 and X360, if you're an owner or have good insight please help me out.

i have an xbox 360 elite with a 120 gig hard drive, and i like it a lot because it has really good games, and can play media from a windows laptop. But, a ps3 can run linux, and is a blu-ray dvd player too. So you can decide  |

id say if you want something to play now, 360. but ps3 would be better in the long run. if you are, get the 360 now, and in like 2 years, get a ps3.

is there any rumor of a bluray 360? because the only thing which is holding me back from buying an x360 is playstations bluray.. why did toshiba give up the hd war shitt

50gigs on a disc can you imagin a game that utilizes that. Also yeh it plays blueray. playstation pws 360. lol but yeh 360 got more games, but Resistence Fall of man 2 is comming out and if you played the first one youd know wht im sayin. game is awsome. toshiba gave up couse they lost and wht would you rather have 50 gig discs or like 20 plz

360 > PS3.
360 has more games, better games and better online play...
It truly is personal preference, though. I wouldn't trade my 360 for anything else.

PS3 blows. Especially if your looking to be playing online.
Online xbox 360 is amazing with dashboard,marketplace,video downloads,game downloads and wayyyy more. PS3 online is GARBAGE!!!!!! FACT! anyways yeah I know because I at one time owned both and I mean the PS3 was ok for single player games and what not but overall for online gameplay the 360 is wayyyy better.

I don't have either, but from my experience:
PS3 rocks when it comes to hardware (read: doesn't blow up)
360 rocks when it comes to software (read: online and dashboard)
just gotta decided which one is more important to you.

Get a Wii. They have the best games, pretty good graphics (not as good as ps3's tho), and an awesome controller. And since it's connected to the internet at all times Nintendo posts updates regularly.
