Installed Poof! with Cydia on 2.0 - bricked

Stuck at the pineapple...for 15 minutes now. Any solution to this short of restore?

I have the timer spinning if u mean the pinnaple, i clicked update on the software for cydia !! what has happened ? ?

Organik - i have unlocked and upgraded to 2.0 , then today it told me to update cydia, i clicked update and now it is stuck on the spinning thing, im a total newbie to iphone software, how do i restore ?

Wait, your stuck while updating Cydia? Dont worry, just hold down Home and Power at the same time until the phone shuts off, and turn it back on again. Try updating Cydia again, it works.

yeah....did that, now phone is stuck on boot logo....forever

Certainly Cydia is not ready for iPhone 2.0, or Poof! isn't, not sure which. This will be my 2nd restore of the day. Damnit.

3g iPhone?

Now i'm getting ready for my 3rd..yes 3rd restore of the day. Stuck again on the Apple logo after running Cydia. All I did was the updates it suggested, OpenSSH, and NES....then it wouldn't quit...spinning progress cursor..so I hard rebooted...and stuck on the Apple. I've spent almost all of my first day off in 11 days working with this F*&*ing iPhone and Cydia.

Time for 2 more hours of restore.

Me too. I update 3 elements and the progress cursor stuck spinning. After 5 min. force quit...and nothing...restart iPhone and then stuck in the Apple Logo. I put the iphone in DFU mode and restore again with PWNED 2.0....all again!....

Watch out the updates/upgrades of Cydia....

i installed poof and it worked great. hid all that extra crap. i also never got the pine apple when i unlocked hmmmm

Everything works fine for me. I'm on both 3g and 2G

I did have the same problem but after a reset by holding home and power off sorted it all out. Hopefully there will be an update for Cydia to fix this problem?

Actually, it happened yesterday night without using Cydia at all (the freeze at boot)...I believe it was a corrupt backup that I restored. Problems with "legit" 3rd party apps. Way to go Apple. Never had that problem with unofficial apps. I "set up as a new phone" and now I'm trying this app management method to see if it prevents more problems.

Yeah - the "one at a time" app management thing didn't work. Also, this time a freeze with Cydia WAS to blame. Had to force restart, then stuck at Apple logo again.....time for my bazillionth restore.
