you might want to start over by first deleting the dictionaries you took from cydia and doing a hard reset (hold home and power). After the reset try to uninstall wedict from both your itunes and iphone then hard reset again. Redownload wedict and launch it before adding any dictionary. I know its not much of a tip but its worth a try.

Same problem. I can't use the dictionaries from Cydia. They work on initial installation but when I sync with iTunes, Wedic no longer works. I have tried everything and nothing works.

I had the same problem, what fixed it for me was:
1. SSHing into my iphone
2. Moving wedict.app from /private/var/mobile/Applications/[Bunch of random numbers] to /private/var/stash/Applications/

Wedict will always stop working once you add dictionaries. You need to get WeDict Pro, and place your dictionaries in the Documents folder. Everything will work fine.

Nope, it's that silly long string Apple makes:
/var/mobile/Applications/8F64765A63E8475C7456B4564578/Documents
The string is different for each program, and changes each time the same program is installed, so what you need to do is SSH into the iPhone with an SFTP client and check the contents of each string until you find one containing Wedictpro.app
Once you do, use the path above (with your own string) and if the Documents folder isn't already there, create it. Set the permissions to 755 and put your .dict and .idx files into it. That's it.
