i went into squid file manager, went to permissions, changed everything so permission would be 777, hit "apply" went back to previous folder, when i go back to file it has same permissions as before i edited them.... whats wrong
Assuming you are using 1.1.3 or above, squid is running as mobile and doesn't have rights to change the file permissions. First you need to run squid as root by setting it to SUID using SSH or MobileTerminal.
im running 1.1.4.... im not really good with this stuff, i got an iphone like yesterday, can you clarify how to do that :edit: installed mobile terminal, shows up on home screen as "Terminal" i dunno what to do from there... how to run squid as root etc.... >_<
