Guide to SSH into iphone without WIFI
Ok so some of us dont use wifi but want to SSH to upload applications and make mods to our phone if you need to do it without wifi here is a quick guide to follow.

have you been able to with this guide ..
there 3 ways to ssh to your phone
1. wifi
2. this method with iphone_tunnel
3. via VPN

i don't know if it's something i installed or what, but on my iphone 3g, when i look in bossprefs on the 3g tab when ssh is on, i see an ip address. if i ssh there, i reach my phone.
it changes if i reset the phone, like a non static ip address would for wifi...

Your 3G ip address will constantly change. Just the way it works.

OK, this appears to be the only way I can fix my SB crash issue without a restore, however I had SSH turned off when it froze, so how can I activate SSH on my phone from Vista

Try diskaid, I don't know if it'll let you change permissions though. |
