Iphone as PC Steering Wheel
im trying to find how to send keystrokes of a steering wheel in windows... much before developing the app in the iphone..
i serached for 2 hours in google and nothing!

after this, i can start developing the app and send from the iphone via wifi the acclerating values to the computer and use them to 'steer' the wheel..

does anyone know how to do it?

it can helps, yea... but first i have to find out how to control the wheel from the PC... the triggers will be easyer...

Might want to research Wii controller PC interface as well... this could be very cool! Don't limit to just steering wheel, think user input (mouse, kb).

well, i made the PC program, now i need to write the iphone one, where can i find the accelerometer log source code? (is it open-source? :S)

i want to send the X Y Z to the PC every 0.01 seconds(or as fast as it can, the accelerometer is very fast..) by the WIFI... the function should be about 10-20 rows i believe...

Check out the iApp-a-Day application Magic Eight Ball for reading the accelerometer at standard OS X speed:
iappaday - Google Code

Basically you need to add this to your Application class:
- (void)acceleratedInXfloat)x Yfloat)y Zfloat)z;

If you want to read faster, there is some code to speed up event reception from the accelerometer, but I don't have it bookmarked

well, i have another problem.. i cant find out how to open a socket.. i just need to open a web page and close it.. i dont care whats is written in it..
