Right now the 2.0 Beta can't be unlocked, but it is said that Zibri has found out how to unlock the new baseband. We already know that pwned will unlock 2.0 Beta. But right now, no you cannot unlock, activate, or jailbreak it.

I downloaded it and installed it on my iphone but because its ummm a beta you need to have some sort of special registration tacked on to your itunes account. But if you have an iTouch its supposed to work perfectly if you use the ipod package thats included in the torrent. So Ill wait for the PAWNAGE Tool this week to activate it on my Iphone using 1.2/2.0.

Has anyone tried this? Ive heard that it cant be activated anyway, but on Engadget, they said it was an April Fools hoax
EDIT: After checking the comments, it is the real firmware, but the iPhone wont activate unless you are an authorized developer, ex. drunknbass. The iTouch, Im very interested in because there is no activating or anything. I think I might get my friend's iTouch and put the firmware on his...

iPod touch gets the whats being called the PSOD (Pink Screen Of Death). I believe, i will test tomorrow probably. |
