I thought this section was for modding on the linux, lol. Now I see that it is porting the linux os to the iphone not vice versa

Hehe, well it would make sense if we had a Linux Specific Modding Forum. No reason for it not to be there. Its not like Mac and Windows are the only two things on the world

This wouldn't work to my knowledge "running windows on iPhone". The goal here is to port over a linux os. To run windows on the iPhone we would need an x86 emulator. Emulators would make the whole point of porting over an os useless, not to mention slow. I think what we are trying to do is rewrite the os to conform to the phones architecture. No windows at this point .

that would be cool if ubuntu mobile can run on the iphone. though i'm sure this is not possible or if so a long way.
