My iPod Touch 16 GB will not turn on... I've tried everything I can think of!
iTunes isn't picking it up.
There is no charging screen
Both buttons don't do anything.
The screen is completely blank.
I put it into recovery mode BEFORE this happened. iTunes said what it normally said... "iTunes has detected an iPod in recovery mode. You will need to restore it for it to work with iTunes." I pressed OK, it then led me to the iPod Touch screen where everything is blank and all you can do it press Restore. From here my little brother clicked on My Music and now I can't finish restoring my iPod!
To get into DFU, plug iPod into PC. Then hold both ON and HOME buttons for exactly 10-11 seconds and release the ON button. You wont see ANYTHING on the screen, but your computer will start looking (and will find them - if you have itunes installed) for drivers.
