I have been searhing like crazy, but can't find the sound file that Kate uses for the reminder function. You know, the one that sound every x minutes you have a missed call or unread messages.
I think the file you are looking for is a shortcut. It is called sms-missed.caf and on mine it points to System/Library/Audio/UISounds/SIMToolkitGeneralBeep.caf
