So can someone out there upload the 5a240d firmware restore file so we windows fellows can try it out.....That .dmg file being seeded is useless as far as my knowledge goes since there is no way to extract it on a windows OS. TPB is waiting for this file......

any version of the 2.0 firmware outside the hands of an official developer is warez. No one will upload it to this site and I seriously doubt MMI would want to host it. There are lots of ways to extract a .dmg on a PC. If you had bothered to do a google search you would have found more than enough information on reading a .dmg on a PC. Anyone can activate the 1.2 (2.0) firmware, but there is no point. It is very buggy because it is still beta and also no apps are written for it so almost nothing works on 1.2 currently.

Doesn't matter what extension is on it. There isn't even Pwned for windows yet. So you woulnd't be able to customize the file and restore it to your phone. I can't even find any seeds of 5a240d anywhere. Let alone being in dmg format. I think 5a240d is only being seeded to devs at this time unless one of them leaks it.

I think some people may be confusing the SDK with the firmware again. This seems to be a regular occurrence. They are not the same.

Also, if you try 2.0 I guarantee you'll be back on 1.1.4 within 10 mins. There are no Installer apps available, it's slow and it crashes a lot.

Everybody... just wait until the official release! Other than MS Exchange support (which is still buggy), a new calculator and some parental controls there really isn't any reason to upgrade yet.

I have been on 2.0 for about a week now and love it. I really needed the exchange support. I does crash alot though and txting is very slow, contacts do freeze up sometime. Other than that im happy to trade apps for exchange
im used to no apps our IT policy wouldn't let me put anything on my curve so im really not missing anything with no apps on my iphone. I was able to ssh in and but some wallpapers to use with the lock screen.

The disadvantages out weigh the new features in the 2.0 beta. It's very buggish, no install app, no app store for those of you that used pwned, and alot of other problems. If you wait until the official release in June, you will be alot happier.

whoa whoa dude. Manually deleting each and every email is such a hassle. I anxiously await 2.0. BUT i had to go back to 1.1.4 because it was so damn buggy!

They forgot Iceland, but I guess that it'll never come to Iceland, since we don't have iTunes Store to activate the phone.

Apple, Iceland is part of western Europe and Scandinavia.
You can NOT say that you have ITMS and iPhone in all of europe if you don't have it in Iceland.

There are so many third party windows apps that open/mount .dmg file. learn how to use google.
