i was think of using the PwnageTool for OSX, just wanted to know if theres anything i special i need to do?

You can just follow the guide although if you're happy with your current set-up then there is NO reason to pwn your phone until June when the new firmware comes out. All you will get out of the deal is a custom boot logo (if you can fine one you like in the correct format).

congrats on the switch!

I myself am a recent switcher (well not that recent, it's been like 8 months) and I LOVE the Mac!

Proud owner of an iPhone of which I erased the bootloader one time and the baseband many times just for fun, had the endless reboot cycle like 5 freakin' times and now doesn't work with firmwares lower than 1.1.3

Congrats on the new Mac... you will love it!

Just restore to 1.1.4 and follow the guide, but like a previous, hang loose until the final 2.0 hits the road!
