How to browse iPhone from a mac ?
If I am correct you do not need to download anything to browse your phone and manually install things. Is that correct? Do you use terminal? New to mac so I am a little confused.

You need to download an application called "OpenSSH" through Installer. (default password is either alpine or dottie: remember this) then download an SSH app for mac, (I have used Fugu and Cyberduck) Enter your iPhone's ip, the username is "root". and the password is one of those that i mentioned. Port is 22. This should help

or you can download AFPd from installer into your iphone. Then this way it just automatically shows up in Finder on your mac.

i d/l'd the APF program from Installer on the phone, installed it, and went to the Macbk and was able to see "My Hacked iPhone", but couldn't connect. Then it was asking me for a user name and password.
Any ideas?!

I'm currently on 1.1.4 and i had the same problem but i found out its not connecting cause i had the wrong username and password. Just look in the finder window there should be a button that says "CONNECT AS"
username - root
password - "dottie or alpine"

Go to http://code.google.com/mac
MacFUSE

Disk for iPhone
Disk for iPhone is a MacFUSE filesystem for reading and writing data on your iPhone.
It will allow you to do it from your mac.
