I have 1.1.4 unlocked with iLiberty+, and iBrickr works a treat, I have used it to add apps, new ringtones, add GBA ROMS - all without ssh. Its great!

iBrickr has not been updated for application installation in a long time.

You don't need to use iBrickr to install custom ringtones in v1.1.4, just use iTunes directly. Rename the AAC file from m4a to m4r then double-click to add it to iTunes as a ringtone. When you sync it will be put on your iPhone.
