does 3G iphone support EDGE?
i'm current using iphone with T-mobile $5.99 plan, plan to upgrade to 3G iphone

but NOT sure if the 3G iphone still support EDGE? especially T-mobile 5.99 plan?

because i hope to have build-in GPS; and i believe next gen iphone will have better performance than 1st gen; so if 3G iphone still support EDGE, it should be great

yes it will...but if you use 3G on t-mobile i belive that ATT and T-MOBLIE are going to be using different frequency ...so EDGE will still work..just not 3G on t-mobile..
