Is there a way to get youtube to work with edge hack?
|
Ive noticed that my youtube doesnt work with the $5.99 T-mobile edge hack, anyone know how to make it work?

If you want YouTube upgrade to the total internet $19.99 plan. It will not work on T Zones and theres no way to make it work.

oh really? I had the $19.99 plan but decided to downgrade to the $5.99 plan just to save money. I donwloaded the hack off installer not knowing youtube wouldn't work. whatever though, if you gotta pay 15 more bucks for youtube to work on edge then screw it. not worth it IMO

Don't tell that to my 1.1.3 phone on T Zones. YouTube has always worked for me on EDGE.

I wish I knew. I have unlocked some 1.1.4 phones also; some will get YouTube with TZones hack, others will not. Same exact process. It's a mystery.
My own 1.1.4 phone is getting YouTube on TZones without the YouTube activator. Figure that one out!! |

its all based on your coverage area, the ammount of traffic the tower you are accessing and your signal strentgh. you have to have a solid connection to get on youtube without wifi. i do it all the time. obstructions like buildings, trees, and powerlines can affect your signal too. just cause you have 4 bars and an "E" doesnt mean you have a good enough connection to download a video. trust me it works. on 1.1.1 to 1.1.4

You can use the search feature on that one program "MXTube", and you can download from there too. It has two quality options for download, one for EDGE and one for wifi

I HAD it working for 5 days, YouTube on EDGE....but then my sad story beings there when it along w/ my outgoing mail stopped working on EDGE.........But it did work and I'm on 1.1.4

Same Problem

Has anyone figure out a solution to this problem? i also want my youtube to work on the tzone hack. Everytime i luanch youtube it would say "youtube unavailable" = (, but the featured and most viewed videos would load, strange. it would only say "youtube unavailable" if i try to search.
