How do you edit the VPN?

I've seen tutorials where it says edit the vpn and use this as the vpn wap.voicestream.com. But when I go to Settings - General - Network I see VPN, wifi and data roaming. I tap on VPN and when I tap on the settings I see, server, account, RSA securID password, secret, send all traffic and proxy. Where in the vpn do I type wap.voicestream?

I'm assuming you have T-Mobile since this is the section for it... But when you go to setting - general - network you should see EDGE select that and you want to use APN and then place the wap.voicestream.com and leave username and password blank..
