Hi ShawVegas,
I am based in Singapore and have an iphone with 1.1.4 firmware.
Tried everything. Ziphoned it, installed iplus and jailbreaked, tried ilibery. The last thing i tried was iplus:
Below are the steps:
1. Restored the iphone to factory settings using iTunes 7.6 with the SIM (starhub is the provider) already inside the phone.
2. Checked the firm ware. It was version 1.1.4 (4A102)
3. extracted iplus 2.0b and executed the iplus -u command.
4. After completion, the screen still shows "No SIM". Tried restarting a couple of times but get the same error.
The iphone's back side shows mode1: A1203 and "Assembled in China".
When I bought the phone, it had version 1.1.2(3B48b) installed with Iworld, i.e, already jailbroken. A few months back, after I visited another country and returned, IWorld could not recognize my SIM. While trying to fix, I restored the iphone to its factory version 1.1.4.
Any suggestions what am I missing out?
