is it possible to have 1 account with 2 sim cards (same number)
i have a porsche and over there i can put a sim card inside and use the car phone but i dont want to take it out from the phone every time?
anyone???

I too have a Porsche with PCM and have a second SIM.

There's a £5/month charge for the service.

When someone calls you, the network first tries to call your car. If the car is off it then tries to call your iPhone. If that is off it goes to voicemail.

Text messages are only received on the phone.

In the UK this service is only available with Orange which is why I have to have an unlocked iPhone!

There's no added call charge and the experience is transparent to callers.

I'm not aware of an option to have a second SIM card. I think when a number is moved to another SIM that the first on is no longer active.

Just buy a sim cloner

. They are illegal in the US, but not sure about the UK.

That wouldn't work the same. You'd have to always have one phone turned off and text messages would not go to just one phone.

That's the beauty of the Second SIM option. It's just a shame that most networks don't offer it. AFAIK, Orange is the only UK one.
