ATT termination fee
I have a plan with ATT (family Plan with iPhone add-on). I want to end my contract. I know that there are early termination fees that I will have to pay, but I was wondering what the fee would really be. I have only been on the contract a few months...three to be exact. I was wondering if anyone knew what the fee would be to cancel the whole contract all together? Thanks for everyones help.

Yeah, I have two phones, a razr and an Iphone. I would like to leave the razr on the att plan, but it has too many minutes so I think that I'm going to have to cancel the whole plan all together...unless you know something I don't.

I had the $20 unlimited text plan (in addition to the iPhone plan) and then switched to the $30 unlimited text family plan. Just call customer care.

Zeal, the $20, 200 text message plan that you are referring to is the iPhone data plan which automatically includes 200 text messages. Poseidon is referring to an additional $20 per month for unlimited texting. Meaning you would have your $39.99 for your Nation 450 Rollover &5000 Night/Weekend & Unlimited Mobile-To-Mobile Minutes, an additional $19.99 for your iPhone Unlimited Data + 200 Text Messages, and if you wanted to add it, an additional $19.99 for Unlimited Text messaging. This would make your bill about $80 before taxes and fees.
If you don't need unlimited, you can add 1500 Text Messages for $10, or it might be $15.
Does this clarify things for you? If you have anymore questions, just let me know. Thanks.

Yes sir you can. It won't be an issue at all. In fact, if you have your online ATT&T account setup then you can go online and add it, that's what I did. I called to change the minutes though. Good luck!

does anyone know if i could lower the min. on the contract or is it only for upgrading?

you can lower it if you want without extending or paying a fee. I started out with 900 minutes and 1500 text messages and over the next few months, i shifted from that to only 450 minutes and unlimited messaging. Changed without a problem online or by phone.
