I have a old sim from ATT and the EDGE option is missing, has anything to do ??

Are you saying that your phone doesn't show an EDGE icon?

i used the phone overseas with local sim and edge working fine.
arrived to the US and put ATT sim on, and the edge option dissapeared

you need to get a new sim card. I had the same problem. Just go to the mall and ask for a new sim and have your service transferred to that card. The card should be free and the transfer of service is NOT an extension of contract. Then put the new sim in the phone and edge will work fine. The edge option still probably wont show up but it will work.

. We had an issue with another phone that wasn't getting EDGE and they changed out the SIM card and it worked fine.

thanks for the info, I do not know how to access files, I rather try changing the sim for a new one.
