iPhone? More like MyPhone
It's all a matter of opinion. Many ppl are just going to contradict others posts. One person says Ziphone is the best. Another says iLiberty is the best. Another says iLiberty sucks the big one....... The obvious problem with Ziphone is that it downgrades your BL. Other that that, PPL should just read up in the forms and make their own educated decision.

Even if you use a turbosim, you don't have a warranty until you actually activate the phone. So a software method is just as voiding as a sim-chip.

ziphone changes the bootloader permanently. Not reversible, which means if you need to ship your iphone back to Apple for any reason, they'll void the warranty because they can see the hacked bootloader changes. Iliberty is reversible so you can restore back to it's original state.

I believe this is now fixable with BootNeuter. I may be wrong though.

I have now successfully unlocked and jailbroke several phones, both 8 GB and 16 GB with ILiberty. It has by far been the best method for me!

Seriously now. The bootloader change during unlock isn't what makes it ziphone very dangerous, it's the massive interference with the ramdisk during jailbreaking that carries the risk.
In my experience:
People often assume that ZiPhone is safe because they can't see anything wrong with it, and it can seem "fine" for long periods of time. Also it's the common mindset that people have (the quicker it is, the safer), but they are wrong no two ways about it. The more seasoned modders here should remember the first sim unlocks (iUnlock and AnySim). They worked fine, looked all nice and good, but they damaged your phone! Just because you can't see the danger, it doesn't mean it's not there! (you can try to see this for yourself by sitting in a room with Carbon Monoxide for a few hours). But, I say again: It's a matter of fact not opinion that ZiPhone is not the safest.
