If you dont get a signal,

Downgrade to v1.1.1 again through DFU mode.
jailbreak, download oktoprep.
UPGRADE to v1.1.2(shift in windows and find v1.1.2 or alt, apple key in mac), jailbreak it.

SYNC it with itunes, It will say activating iphone.

There you go

Just do this. Use the search and find BrickTool. Then use Ibrick to put the 3 files from Bricktool into the USR/BIN folder. Then open the vt terminal 100 that u download from installed and type in this.
cd /usr/bin
chmod +x bricktool
bricktool d (after this command it will tell you PHONE PART ENABLED)

i did this on my otb 1.1.3 last night and it worked fine.
:-)

No sevice

I am a windows user and I have two iphones that bought both 3 months ago. The one which was 1.1.2 worked well with ziphone 2.5c and itune 7.6.1.9. but the other one which was 1.1.3 I bought in dubai was actually unlocked. When I brough it to iran it said “no service”. I took a look ad your site and download v3.0 then:
1- refurbish.
2- upgrade to 1.1.4 using itune.
3. Do it all in ziphone v3.0

The phone works with one of our operators but doesn with the main one keep saying “no service”. I did the same procedure but downgrading to 1.1.3 using the same ziphone version but exactly the same problem.

Then I used 2.5c to refurbish then restore 1.1.4 then jailbreak and activate using 2.5c then from installer used 1.1.4 unlock by clarified but the same result.

Then I used 2.5b to refurbish, restore 1.1.4 and do it all in 2.5b. it showed the logo of the desired operator for 5 seconds and then disappeared showing no Service again.

Please advise

Try This:

1. Let’s get into DFU Mode. Connect to your computer, hold the power and home buttons down (the iphone will power off after about 10 seconds, but keep holding both buttons down)
2. As soon as the iPhone powers off, (black screen) release the power button (but keep holding the home button down). (If you see the apple logo or connect to itunes logo you are not in DFU mode so try it again)
3. After about 20 seconds or so, Itunes should see your iphone. It is now safe to release the home button, and your iPhone is in DFU mode.
Now iTunes should ask you to restore its firmware.

Restore to 1.1.4 and jailbreak with iliberty+

On the problem of one carrier working and not the other, I suppose that you have verified that the sim of the carrier that is not working, works OK in another GSM phone?

yes the sim of the carrier that is not working in the iphone I described above, is working in any other GSM phone. I also have a working 1.1.3 iphone that works fine with the same carrier and SIM.

Did your unlock with iliberty+ make any difference in your carrier problems?
