Unlocking I phone for tmobile sim card
|
Need help from somebody.
Got an iphone 3G. Question 1: Do I Winpwn or Quickpwn the phone
to unlock? Question 2: During my unlocking of the phone, do I have my
att sim card, my t-mobile sim card or no sim card installed at all.
At this time it seems like my phone is unlocked but I cannot get my
T-mobile sim card to work. Help!

your phone is probably activated... Not unlocked. Otherwise your tmobile sim would have worked. As for unlocking the 3G. Niether quickpwn or winpwn will unlock it. Sorry. A software unlock hasn't been found. Those apps will only jailbreak a 3G. Until then you just have a really nice iPod touch.
There are sim adapter solutions people are testing bit it seems that 100% of them poop out and lose signal after awhile. Until then All you can do is check in periodically and cross your fingers that a reliable solution comes about soon. Welcome to the fourm.

If you have an original iphone. bootneuter does not work with 3G at this time... (which is what the first poster mentioned) |

Thats because your phone can not be unlocked, 3G iPhone CAN NOT be unlocked. Restore to origional firmware, then repwn. |
