Term-vt100

Hi all,
I am using Term-vt100 and it defaults to my iPhone.
Is there a file I can vi or modify so that it will go to a cetain IP address from my iPhone?

Or a better telnet app?

You could try popping this into a text file, uploading it to your root's home directory on the iPhone (since that's where you'll be upon login) and run it:

#!/bin/sh
ssh name@ip.add.re.ss

The script should "end" once you ctrl-d or logout of the server you're on.

After popping this up to the iPhone, do a chmod 4755 on it.

That way, you open Term-vt100, type ./scriptname and you're all set.

Hmmm...

I get login from Term-vt100, it aloows me to type root
then after hitting return I get password but it does not take it or show the cursor moving. I then get login incrrect. I do know the passwd is alpine.

Also I can get in it from putty with ssh

any ideas?

I have a file ready to go.

You won't see the cursor move, that's part of the security of it. But you more than likely also need to install the SUID Fix under "Tweaks" in Installer and under Tweaks 1.1.3 is the BSD Subsystem something or other near the top, fixes the backspace issue. Install those and try again using alpine as the password.

Is it possilbe to make it landscape??

when i try to download term-vt100 from installer it says "package download failed" does anyone know how to fix this?

It'd be awesome if Term-vt100 would go landscape, would make my life easier.

For nycdiplomat, make sure you've Refreshed and installed/updated to the latest Community Sources. Some of the Conceited Software stuff acts goofy with the older sources since they're probably on different servers now.
