Some iPhone SDK questions, need some help

If the following goes against the iPhone SDK NDA, mods, feel free to lock/delete this post & I apologize in advance. I'm trying to add a navigation controller to the top my app's window. For some reason, I cannot get it to work. I used the "UIShowcase" sample code for reference for trying to implement a navcontroller & for the name to show up as well. What I'm trying to do is make a UIButtonTypeNavigation
button to call a UIAlertSheet window that shows this:

- (void)alertSimpleAction:(id)sender
{
// open an alert with just an OK button
UIAlertView *alert = [[UIAlertView alloc] initWithTitle:@"Apple Support Search" message:@"© 2008 Jack In The Box Software, Inc."
delegate:self defaultButton:@"OK" cancelButton:nil otherButtons:nil];
[alert show];
[alert release];
}

(This was modified from the AlertsViewController.m file from the UIShowcase
sample code)

Here's what the "About" Window looks like

Im trying to accomplish a similar affect like what the Installer.app "About" button does. I also cannot get the name to show up in the menubar. Here's what I'm aiming shooting for in regards of what I'm trying to get my app to look like

I've looked all over the "iPhone Reference
Library topics guide"
http://developer.apple.com/iphone/li...ics/index.html & the
"iPhone Reference Library"
http://developer.apple.com/iphone/li...ion/index.html & I could not
find anything there to help me with my problems.

1. Sorry I can't help you OP, I was trying to do something similar yesterday as a matter of fact and just gave up

2. This is not against the NDA. You are free to help. You never even signed an NDA, you know that right? You're probably thinking of the TOS or Software Agreement, look over whichever it is and show me where it says you aren't allowed to help someone. Once you realize that you are doing nothing wrong, I would also like to know how to do this.

Read SDK license agreement 5.3 more carefully.

We are not free to help.

What does 5.3 say.

the agreement covers itself - Apple could teach the three letter agencies how to write a contract.

Hahaha... I'm asking... does it say I should delete this thread, and does it say developers can't collaborate publicly in regards to apps developed with the iPhone SDK? Seems a bit backwards.

Summarize.

I am assuming (hoping) the agreement will change when the SDK is fully released.
