How can this be done?
ok so about 5 days ago i went to this BestBuy by my house and i found a hacked iPod Touch !!



how can you do this without the use of a computer?

Maybe the guy who set it up did it, or someone came in with a laptop.

well i know someone DID IT but im just asking how.
i think its highly unlikely that some one came in with a laptop and did it..
probably it was the bestbuy guy lol

It was probably version 1.1.1 which can be jailbroken using only the Safari browser. That jailbreak was the best.

nah i checked the firmware version it said 1.1.4
yeah it was soo easy with the web based jailbreak
