Thanks for your contribution, I like this app.
I've found there are some bugs after installing this app: - If my contact has the telephone number with format +xxxxxxxxx, it does not take the plus when dialing, so dial failed. - When I press the bottom left button, the keyboard change to qwerty but then can not come back to dial key pad And your package is still the 0.1 version but not the 0.2 as I expected. great app~~~~

suggestion for the app, instead of having the transparent keyboard, use the phone's default keyboard for dialpad ( the one which appears for adding a number in contacts) and with the alternative of normal qwerty keyboard. by the way, the qwerty keyboard goes away after pressing enter. also make the numners look in alphabetical order as in default contact apps with a-z on side. This would make the app really good. also you need to change the default screen graphic and dialer icon. otherwise it's a cool application

Really nice work - im looking forward to updates on this one.
Would be nice to have an english translation |

it is exactly what I am looking for, yet still a small step from perfect.
1. as Xmenreturn said, it does not respond to the + in my number, so the call fails if I have a number like +852951...... 2. Try the steps as follows: let the keyboard goes to qwerty and press the globe to switch to Chinese input, press return to come back to transparent numberpad and press the bottom left key again. a solid numberpad shows up and it won't change any more. You can call it 'a bug' but normally you won't go that far to be bothered. 3. what does 'button should here' means when I am on the contact page? 4. I still have problems in searching. for example, as I press 94664 in search for a name with XIONG, I can only find 熊, but not 雄. But if I do it in qwerty, I can get both. How come? 5. I like the idea of transparent keyboard, which allows you to see a longer list of matches, except that the letters beneath the numbers as well as on the bottom left & right keys are too light to read. 6. It is great that I can search a contact from a certain company now. Maybe a next version would support search from numbers also? Last edited by tweety2000; 05-31-2008 at 01:05 AM. |

wDialer update
update 0.5
1. changed keypad to system default number keypad, can input "+#*" now 2. set qwuerty keyboad to default , you can swith qwuerty keyboad and number pad using delete key 3. disable chinese IME because you just need to use first charactor of each word's pinyin , or use full pinyin to search, chinese is never needed 4. you can exit the application from about dialog Last edited by wwc; 06-07-2008 at 08:05 AM. |

wwc, that's great to hear from you again.
The app now runs more smoothly but the problem to call a number with "+" in the contact is still there. It's not the problem that we can not enter "+" for dialing. The problem is that: 1. I choose the contact detail after searching from the list 2. If the phone number of the contact has "+[contrycode][number]" format, when i choose the number to dial, the final number wDialer use to make call is the number in the format "[contrycode][number]" without "+". That's why the call was failed. If I choose to SMS the number "+[contrycode][number]", wDialer activate SMS application, but the number in the To field is "//[contrycode][number]" Could you fix this issue. I like this app and I want to use it, but every phonenumber in my contact list has "+xxxxxx" format. And one more request that in the contact detail, there is a button that does not have any action. Could you create action for it or remove it to make the app more professional. Thanks so much. Last edited by xmenreturn; 06-02-2008 at 06:51 AM. |

wwc,
Thanks so much for your quick reply and fixed version of the wDialer. May I ask you for some more favours: - Could you make the Contact detail look like the original one such as the attached image - Could you translate the chines to english also |
